Christ, if a talking head can exclude data like that, anyone can produce a graph that shows CV19 deaths are practically zero by excluding all states but Wyoming, Vermont, Maine, and Alaska.

trump is misusing stats, but I expect better of so-called "journalists," especially left-leaning ones. CV19 and deaths are expanding rapidly, so we don't need to misrepresent the data. trump is cooked.

Dire U.S. COVID-19 Death Rate Seen In Graph Excluding NY, NJ, CT - Rachel Maddow - MSNBC

Rachel Maddow shows how dramatically different the graph of the U.S. coronavirus death rate looks when three key states that have gained some control of the spread, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut are excluded from the data. Aired on 7/22/2020.

on my tablet. That's why I had to post from a tweet I saw, I thought it was important when i saw it. She did that about 2 months ago with NY Times charts but I couldn't figure out how to post that either.

I posted 2 of the three available segments from Rachel's Wednesday night show since that seemed to be the most important news of the night to me - no big surprise. I almost included this video, too, so it stuck in my mind.

Here are the other two, one is a follow up of the other, same story:
