A good friend was just diagnosed

Stage III rectal cancer.

He's in his mid-fifties.

Please get a colonoscopy everyone. This type of cancer is on the rise.

This just underscores the importance of good health insurance for all.

Lots of people who have crappy insurance or no insurance in their mid 50s can’t afford the cost of a colonoscopy. It’s ridiculous and morally wrong, yet that’s the reality of living in America now.

I wish your friend all the best. Stage 3 cancer isn’t a death sentence anymore. I am living proof.

good example is my spouse who was diagnosed 15 months ago.
With chemo and immunotherapy, her tumors have shrunk, and she is still with me!
