I'm getting a tooth yanked and new choppers this morning. I guess I'll be having a vicoden for dinner. I told the guys they're on their own for the next few days.
First thing I'm having once the swelling goes down is a nice green salad.

I think I'll make a potato salad from the baby bliss & yukon potatoes and a slaw using Brussels sprouts. I bought another stalk of Brussels sprouts for $5 and it had sprouts on it from the size of small apples to thumbnail size. Brussels sprouts get my vote for 'cutest food.'

On the side, roasted yellow peppers.

Also a huge mesclun salad. I'm thinking to put in diced roasted plums, tiny pieces of goat cheese, and pecans. Use a standard vinaigrette that I mix up in about five minutes.

Have reduced and strained it and it is too good to put anything in but some noodles, I think.

So we shall have that and chicken/blt wraps with bleu cheese and avocado.

This is exactly what I want tonight.

How's this for a deal? Two dinners and a bottle of wine for $40! And there are about a dozen entrees to choose from. Meals come with a salad, creamy mashed potatoes and a vegetable. Cosy little place with excellent food.

Chicken broth with corn, tomatoes, red peppers, black beans, some chicken chipotle sausage, and some taco seasoning. I was lazy today. It's not bad. Needs more veggies, like zucchini, and maybe some shredded corn tortillas.

Wrapped the tuna with soy, ginger, sesame oil, green beans, red bell pepper, onion, mushrooms. Cooked tight (steamed) till the fish was just done. Laid all over rice.

I had a few already cooked strips of bacon in the fridge so I chopped that up and threw it in the soup. Good choice. The soup hit the spot today.
