I'm going to make quinoa with lentils, cherry tomatoes, caramelized onions, and feta.

We were thinking no one was going to come. Yet everyone came. And it was a wonderful mix of food! I made a quinoa dish and the neighbor across the street brought a great salad. Then, everyone brought great desserts! Wonderful night!

Chicken (organic, free-range, of course) marinated in lemon juice, salt and pepper, and paprika. At time of cooking, the RG turns this into the most tasty sauce.

Interesting salad: watercress with grated apple. A little parmesan added and also a tiny amount of vinegar.

Tiny green beans, only quarter of an inch wide and about two inches long. I pick out the little ones in the produce display.

Spinach with garlic, parmesan added.

Zucchini cooked in olive oil and garlic.

Dessert: We're picking this up from TGIFriday's. RG says it's the best thing they have on their menu--French vanilla cheesecake. Will serve with strawberries.

Cher

p.s. Lucinda, glad you were able to overcome your modem problem.

But! I've got fresh ground beef, a couple of cheeses, a nice slicing tomato, red onion and romaine lettuce on hand. So that's likely to be what's for dinner.

My heart just hasn't been into the DU posting lately.

Anywho I picked up a Costco chicken and SO made some hummus. I'll make a quick green salad with tomatoes and toast some pita

4 turkey hot dogs with 3 tortillas ( hot pepper, sauce, and a couple cloves garlic). Might make a 9" pancake later.
