Different radish varietyies have slightly different greens, some are smooth, most have a peppery taste, says the Google.
btw...young turnip greens are fantastic.

Beet greens are our favorite.

(16,296 posts)and am thinning them and eating the stem and leaves. Mild peppery taste which I am sure would intensify as they develop. So, yes, eat them .
Also planted nasturtiums just for the leaves and flowers to spice up a salad - again a peppery taste. Also with the nasturtiums , I understand you can pickle their seed pods for a caper substitute and am looking forward to that.
