Steak chimichurri - quick help appreciated

I got the chimichurri (bon appetite from last year- a good one.)

But I tend to fry my steak in butter with aromatics, rosemary at least and usually thyme.

Too much with chimichurri?

(Btw, not starting the grill tonite. Fry only.)

They can run from rather bland to blow your head off in strength.

What I'd probably do is pepper the steak, sear it and finish in the oven. That way you'd be getting steak, chimichurri, and just a little bite from the pepper.

If you're going to fry it in fat, use olive oil to blend with that in the chimichurri or a light oil that is pretty much flavorless, or a blend of the two. Butter might be weird.
