Polenta with pesto

Ingredients
A log of polenta, sliced
pesto
olive oil
Parmesan cheese, grated

Directions
Cut the polenta into 1/2 inch slices. Fry in olive oil until lightly browned and crispy. Heat the pesto and dab on each polenta slice. Top with Parmesan.

from maple syrup to a spicy ragu sauce. Note that it's the red gravy cooked from scratch with a lot of meat and red wine in it, not the stuff in the jars.
