Mineral water - I've been on a business trip to Germany and have gotten

hooked on mineral water - either "still" or "with gas". I drink more of it than I ever did of tap water and enjoy the calorie free flavor that is not going to rot or etch my teeth. (I love water with lemon, but am afraid of what the acid might do to my teeth.)

So, any suggestions for flavoring tap water?

My tap water has a good balance of minerals and tastes pretty good the way it is and it's even better with the fizz. Sometimes I will puree some fruit in my blender and mix it in, but I generally just like it plain.

The basic salts you need are:

Morton’s kosher salt (or sea salt – but measurement will differ!)
Baking soda
Epsom salt (from the pharmacy)
Gypsum (the only tough ingredient, can be ordered online or bought at homebrew supply stores)
Phillips Milk of Magnesia (from the pharmacy)
Pickling lime (from your grocery’s canning section)

..it's just usually listed as "magnesium sulfate" on the label.

Speaking of, have you ever had Vichy Catalan? That's an acquired taste if anything is..
