6 weeks at best. Usually from Memorial Day to the end of June, but delayed 2-3 weeks this year due to the cold rainy spring. Infinitely better than those big red things at the supermarket!

We got two big buckets each week at the Farmers Market - there are half a dozen big freezer bags full of them in the garage freezer.

Our favorite dessert has been Trader Joe vanilla Soy Creamy (amazingly good soy "ice cream) with sliced fresh strawberries on top, then some grated dark chocolate.

Tonight my wife made a strawberry rhubarb crumble, also topped with vanilla soy creamy....

Now blueberry and blackberry season is upon us. And melons.....

Fresh strawberries are one of the true edible miracles!

I'm up around 2.5 gallons of black raspberries so far this season, hoping to maybe hit 4 gallons by the time it's done. I've been bad about picking the strawberries, only a gallon there so far.

I need to pick the snow peas and rip them out to replace with green beans, now that the heat is hitting.
