I'm so fortunate that my husband's such a fuddy, alternating cereal and eggs like it was a natural law. Means I get most of the leftovers, and since I like what I cook, breakfast's a happy meal most mornings.

Had my usual; skillet toasted bread and 3 cups black coffee. Added something - applebutter - just happened to grab a jar of it a few months back and it has been sitting in the pantry. Opened it this morning, Yum, yum. Brings back happy memories, we used to eat it all the time when I was a kid. Ha! That was long ago; I will soon be 81.
