The Landlady(!) found her Snoopy waffle maker and declared that today is going to be all Peanuts.

I can't wait to see what she's got in mind for dinner!

Billie Holiday was an inspired choice, irisblue!

We are inviting my brother and SIL over for a nostalgic lunch with big fat and juicy burgers, potato salad and chilled BBQ Baked beans that I cooked yesterday. But the star of our get together is an old fashioned soda fountain with Egg Creams, Black Cows, Strawberry Milkshakes, Chocolate Sodas, and Vanilla Malted Milk.

I've been longing for some old time soda shop favorites so I've been stocking up on all the syrups, seltzer water and club soda, big bag of frozen strawberries, ice cream and various sodas needed. I have a menu of the drinks I can make, and all the recipes are loaded in my tablet and ready to go. I'm serving the drinks in small mason jar mugs, maybe 12oz, so we can sample as many different d drinks as possible.

It's gonna be s-o-o-o good!

at 1:25 p.m. and had 1/4 of a leftover meatloaf sandwich.

I do get carried away with my gardening, I'm afraid.
