What's for Dinner, Sat., Sept. 12, 2020

Pork spareribs.

Omelette with roasted tomato & wild mushrooms.

Mesclun salad w/avocado & maple bacon, Other fresh garden vegetables. Ranch dressing.

Pate w/breadsticks & naan bread, toasted. Sliced pear. French goat cheese.

Dessert: Justin's peanut butter cup. HD coffee/vanilla/Belgian chocolate.

Raspberry lemon kombucha.

steamed broccoli

sliced tomatoes (from the garden) dressed with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and basil (from the garden.

Homemade cookies for dessert. They're "cocoa powder cookies." I used the "special dark" cocoa powder, and added some orange zest and some chopped walnuts. (Mom would be impressed. She was really good at getting creative when she baked. Miss you, mom!)

4. Fresh salmon burgers

along with avocado & roasted corn salad w/ Green Goddess dressing.

I've always liked salmon burgers made with canned salmon. This is the first time I'm making them with fresh fish. Looked simple on TV.....

Lots of garlic & Italian spices, angel hair pasta with cheesy alfredo, sweet corn, & red leaf salad with Italian dressing & tomatoes.

used so they all got tossed in. My daughter brought home fudge from her trip to Madison, so a piece of that for dessert.
