Used an Old Blue Granite-Ware Roaster

Was straightening up my pantry and found an old blue granite-ware roaster that hadn't used in years. Got it out and cooked a chuck roast with potatoes and carrots in it. The meat was nice and tender with some good tasty browning, veggies were nicely roasted, too.

I don't know why I stopped using the roaster, guess I thought it was old fashioned (which it is), but will be using more in the future.

Gave the large and medium ones away after the kids left home, kept the small. It ended up on the back shelf which is built under the stairwell and hard to reach for this old lady. My bad.

I've never owned graniteware or spongeweare. They'd be a hell of a lot easier to lift these days.
