got fat cat's labs back

nothing has changed since january and her calcium levels remain elevated, so the vet wants me to try a different kidney food and see if that sticks. the turd loved it when i first brought it home and then decided she didn't like it any more about two months ago. plus i have the dim one to contend with and she is the pickiest eater i have ever met.

we're giving her wet food when she wants it, which is turning out to be all the time. i'm going to do everything i can for her, i'm just a bit frustrated right now.

we'll go back in a couple of months for another follow-up.

finding the right food and with her health. I am having flashbacks to my kitty with kidney disease and all the food problems. With me, since none of the foods helped, and she was not happy with any of them, I just went back to feeding her what she loved...to the end. I hope you don't have to go through the "I hate all this kidney health food".

Stay strong, fat cat.

was not good for her either. I spent hundreds of dollars on food that she would not eat, trying everything that was supposed to be better for her. I even read every label in the pet food store looking for commercial foods with the least amount of protein, because that is what I was told we had to avoid. And still she wouldn't eat the foods. It wasn't worth it to make her that miserable.

Lucky for the neighbors with cats though....they got all the foods that my cat refused to eat.
