(160,449 posts)She managed to share a heartfelt purr to express her appreciation. So cute. Thanks.
Judi Lynn
(160,449 posts)and it looks as if they think she might need her friend tonight, as she's staying right with her, on the floor.
How sweet her human friend is taking such very good care of her. This former feral kitteh seems so grateful for companionship now.

(160,449 posts)and she is licking her fur quite a bit.
Hope Grace will be just fine.
Also hope they also will make sure she doesn't have to keep going through this!
Best wishes for Grace.

(160,449 posts)Was right with her. Clearly they have work ahead. The woman picked up the new one in a towel and patted it to dry it and Grace started cleaning it. She was not alone at all.

It's great to have a face now, from memory of her discussing kittehs in videos over the years.
She is so kind, and knowledgeable. The cats have a tremendous ally with Shelly.

(160,449 posts)Grace is getting constant praise and pats. So glad her friend will stay beside her.

(38,528 posts)all black panthers. (I think they should be named after characters from the movie, but they're doing a "Peanuts" comic strip theme w/ the names.)
The one w/ the green collar is a feisty little guy.

(160,449 posts)Gives her some time, no doubt, to stretch her legs, seek snacks, and look for her big friends.
While she was gone, just saw Shroeder, red collar, make a mighty yawn! First time I've seen that from any of these little guys. They are growing so fast! Gotta see them every day many times.

(160,449 posts)They have so few adventures to dream about, just getting food, getting groomed, sleeping, and trying to walk around.
They are so little. They feel safe if they are touching their siblings and mom. What a beautiful beginning.
Thanks, ralps.

(38,528 posts)Schroeder, Shermy, Clara and Charlotte have all doubled their weight. Grace is a good momma!
Their eyes are starting to open
Judi Lynn
(160,449 posts)Also, the little ones are making tiny mews.
Shelly just came through to lift each one out, after little back and head scratches, put them on their new orchid blanket and remove the old one. Grace seems to love Shelly, and rubbed up against her as she was moving the little ones back in with their new blanket.
Shelly is the one who helped Grace deliver the four beautiful little black kittens, and was so professional while doing it. Clearly she has won Grace's heart and trust.

(160,449 posts)Tiny Kittens got Mercy from a shelter where Mercy was taken after she was hit by a car and had a broken jaw. She would have been kept for three days, then euthanized if no one claimed her. Instead Tiny Kittens took her, got her jaw the help it took to restore her, at eight months old, and brought her home to recuperate.
Mercy loves Grace and the kittens, and comes in to cuddle with all of them. I've seen them all sleeping in one great big hug together, and have seen Grace and Mercy playing like kittens. Sometimes you will see Mercy in there with the kittens while Grace goes out for dinner, etc.
Really, really cute. Mercy has her life back, and Grace has a new friend along with a new family.
