AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -
Two men have been arrested in connection to a shoplifting incident Oct. 6 at the Home Depot on Joslyn Road in Auburn Hills which prompted a customer to fire gunshots at them as they fled.

It was a 46-year-old Clarkston woman who fired gunshots at the suspected shoplifters' vehicle as they fled the Home Depot parking lot. The woman had been shopping at the store when she saw an employee trying to stop a man pushing a cart full of unpaid merchandise out of the building.

Police said the woman has a concealed pistol license (CPL). Her shots hit the vehicle, flattening one of the tires. She has been cooperating with police, who are sending this case to the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office for review. The prosecutor will have to decide if this woman will face charges.
