Like all carriers I hope she never had to defend herself with it. However.com if it's there at the ready should the need arise and the moment of opportunity presents itself.

No one should be denied the right to life, liberty and happiness just to make others feel safe.

She carries a Colt Lightweight commander in 45 caliber.

It used to be my carry piece till she started shooting it.

The only 45 I own is a Taurus....I wouldn't want to do that to her.

5 years ago, the wife was cruising an estate sale and got a great deal on a Sig P225 & Sig P228 in LNIB condition as a present for me - she knew I was planning on getting both models since Sig USA had discontinued the sale of them. We took them out to the range the following week and I made the mistake of letting her shoot the P228. Suddenly, it was "hers" and the only time I got to touch it was to clean it after she'd taken it to the range.

Eventually, I found a two-tone P228 for my collection which she is not allowed to touch...even though she teases me that "it's too pretty for you, you should trade it to me!"

“The world is filled with violence. Because criminals carry guns, we decent law-abiding citizens should also have guns. Otherwise they will win and the decent people will lose.”

ps ------- I believe it's time to inform the large number of uninformed pro-restriction supporters which hypocrite is responsible for your quote, no?

Here's another:
"The tragic history of civilian disarmament cries a warning against any systematic attempts to render innocent citizens ill-equipped to defend themselves from tyrant terrorists, despots or oppressive majorities," Daniel Schmutter.

Anyone who cares to google the quote can easily find Dr Kellerman's name but the edit is in.
