Anyone here read Stephen King's "Mr. Mercedes" yet?

I used to be up on his new releases, but I had no idea about this one until I read a review on The Guardian website last week. My library has the book on order and I've already put a hold on it. Probably won't get it for awhile.

Do I have something to look forward to here?

Reserved it at library this morning. I'm #28 on the list. Paladin Jun 2014 #1
I'm hoping I won't be that far down once the library gets a few copies. AngryOldDem Jun 2014 #3
We will have to request that one at the library, AngryOldDem Enthusiast Jun 2014 #2

It's ok. zappaman Aug 2014 #5
Agreed. It's not King at the top of his game, but it's still worthwhile. (nt) Paladin Aug 2014 #7

Review in the NY Times books section sounded pretty good.

In the meantime, I just finished that oldie-but-goodie Firestarter (1980! I remember buying the paperback then that I now no longer have...) and just started Full Dark, No Stars. King's works are like old friends to me...when nothing else catches my eye in the stacks, I know just where to go.

Both of us found it to be very entertaining. We loved the unusual cast of characters.

Sorry if you have already commented on Mr. Mercedes. I am having trouble keeping up.
