Bills officially for sale, reaching out to prospective owners

The family of Ralph Wilson have begun the bidding process for the Buffalo Bills, sending out non-disclosure agreements and initial sale documents to groups who have expressed interest in buying the team, reports John Kryk of the QMI Agency.

Prospective owners will receive a sale book containing the full financial data on the team once they have signed the confidentially agreements sent out Wednesday.

Several people have shown interest in acquiring the team, including Donald Trump, former Buffalo Sabres owner Tom Gollisano, and a group that includes Toronto Maple Leafs president Larry Tanenbaum and singer Jon Bon Jovi.

Wilson purchased the Bills in 1959 when they were still a member of the AFL, and owned the team until his death in March of this year. His widow, Mary Wilson, later announced she intended to sell the team.
