http://sports.yahoo.com/news/u-s--forward-jozy-altidore-cleared-to-play-in-world-cup-game-vs--belgium-172207970.htmlJozy Altidore has been medically cleared to play for the United States in its World Cup elimination game against Belgium on Tuesday....
Altidore has struggled to find the back of the net of late, but his speed and physical presence is something the Americans cant duplicate. Rather than replace him, the U.S. has gone with essentially just one forward, Clint Dempsey, and added an extra midfielder.
While the team announced Altidore is ready and available to play after missing two games, questions about his fitness level remain. He likely will be a late-game substitution and isn't expected to start.
"We dont know how much (Altidore will play) because we didn't see how things were going, but he's available. And this is what we wanted. This is what we hoped for," U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann said.

ya Muggle!
Although it would be fun to see Altidore in wizard beard and getup, perhaps using his staff to guide the ball into the Belgian net.

(78,249 posts)5. If he scores the winner as a sub, we may finally have found a team name
like Spain's La Furia, the Dutch Oranje Lions, Italy's Azzurri, Frnace's Les Bleus, the Aussie Socceroos, or more poetic ones like Cameroon's Indomitable Lions or Japan's Blue Samurai.
Jozy and the Pussycats!!

I doubt he'll see a minute of action against Belgium.
My guess is Klini is using it to motivate the rest of the team.
