Oops: Mets website accidentally posts NL Champs apparel

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mlb-big-league-stew/oops--mets-website-accidentally-posts-nl-champs-apparel-221443116.html

With the team up 3-0 in the NLCS, there's a very good chance the New York Mets will advance to the World Series. While it's not impossible, few teams have ever come back from a 3-0 deficit.

That said, the Mets aren't in the World Series just yet. And even though it looks like they'll make it, the team wouldn't want to do anything to jinx that opportunity.

Whoops! That screen grab was taken from the team's official website on Wednesday. The Mets were briefly advertising "NL Champs" apparel. The club quickly corrected the mistake and removed the link from the website, but not before Twitter user Phil Primato grabbed a quick shot of it.

These types of mistakes are less than ideal. Just a few weeks ago, we saw Texas Gov. Greg Abbott prematurely congratulate the Houston Astros on making it to the ALCS. We all know how that turned out.

They need to put this on the Jumbotron at Wrigley RIGHT FUCKING NOW!!!11!!1!!11!! If that doesn't awaken the Cubbies from their coma, nothing will.
