It's amazing (not really, I guess--I get it) how little it takes to screw up a kick. Cuthbert Allgood Jan 2019 #6

It's a funny shaped ball that bounces in funny ways but that was odd. The chance of the ball hitting the upright just right to go straight down is incredible. Just watching a slo mo now on tv. The tip hit the upright which sent it straight down.

My MInd flashed to that movie as I watch the play and thought of my late father, an Eagles Fan who passed away over a year ago

I've actually seen it before, so it may not be as rare as one might think.

What actually amazed me was that the Philly coach called time out to "ice" the kicker on the prior kick, which was good, then had the second try fail. I don't think I've ever seen "icing the kicker" work, although I'm sure it has done so.

The video I saw showed a nice rotating ball and then, after the tip, the movement changed greatly.

It looks like his finger barely grazes the ball. And that's pretty much what he said. It's funny that he though it was good until he heard the crowd.

Not a Bears fan, but feel bad for Parkey.
