Anyone looking forward to tonight's National Championship game?

I'm not. College football and the NBA have gotten too predictable to me. I've lost interest.

I can't stand just about everything about the intersection of the NCAA and football and corporate media.

....but I'll root for the SEC team.
I'm always amazed at how many people have opinions on the finances of college football, but it seems no one ever stops to ask a football player who has no chance of playing in the NFL why they choose to play. I'll go out on a limb here and say it's probably for the love of the game.

Vaguely aware it's a college football game because of the time of the year it is.

(My entire social life revolved around sports for thirty years, thankfully my ex is no longer part of it).
