Why am I not surprised...

...that umpires utilize their own strike zone with complete and total freedom and disregard for historical precedent.


Considering that you have individuals, throughout the country, in positions of authority who would shut down your government, take your country into war or end another's life entirely on some ideological whim, umpires have no qualms about imposing their personal reality over public perception. Who will question their authority?

Professional sports has become another uniquely American criminal enterprise.
