Trump endorses Curt Schilling for Baseball Hall of Fame

Former Red Sox ace Curt Schilling is getting some pinch-hitting from President Trump who tweeted the former World Series hero should be welcomed into baseball’s hall of fame. Trump tweeted Monday, “Curt Schilling deserves to be in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Great record, especially when under pressure and when it mattered most. Do what everyone in baseball knows is right!”

An avid Trump supporter, Schilling blamed his ties to the president for not having been inducted back in 2017. He blasted fans who he said rejected him based on his support for the president.

Schilling once held a rally for Trump in Boston and has been known to expound on conspiracy theories.
He responded to the president’s tweet with gratitude: “Thank you Mr. President! Do NOT give in on any of it! We are behind you!”

The results of the Hall of Fame election will be revealed at 6 p.m. today. The class of 2019 will be inducted July 21 in Cooperstown, N.Y.

Phillies manager, had this to say about Schilling:
“Every 5 days he’s a real horse on the mound. The other 4 days he’s just a horse’s ass.” (And this was when Schilling was a Phillie in the 90s, before he got involved with politics).

His fastball picked up 2mph and his slider 2 inches of side break and nearly 3" of drop AFTER he was 30.
Also, the bloody sock (unhealing wound) is a potential sign of EPO.
Plus, I could never put him above cheating.
