Related: About this forumNigerian atheist kidnapped by family, sent to psychiatric ward
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-28010234Excerpts:
Mubarak Bala, 29, is said to have been forcibly medicated by his Muslim relatives, despite being given a clean bill of health by a doctor.
The IHEU says that when Mr Bala told relatives he did not believe in God, they asked a doctor if he was mentally ill.
Despite being told that he was not unwell, Mr Bala's family then went to a second doctor, who declared that his atheism was a side-effect of suffering a personality change, the group says.

God, save me from your people. Not to mention the poor guy in the story. I would wager there are many christians in the US who wish they could this exact thing to us. And by "us"of course I am not referring to those who troll this group looking for stuff to alert on, no doubt helping secure their place in heaven. *gag*

(49,533 posts)3. I think our alert troll(s) is (are) more concerned with silencing atheists on DU.
It's a personal obsession stemming from their own impotent rage at being unable to combat atheism at the intellectual level.

Nothing more dangerous (or obnoxious) as a zealot.
