Tornado touched down in Pa. on Tuesday: National Weather Service
A rare January tornado touched down in western Pennsylvania on Tuesday.
National Weather Service in Pittsburgh reports that survey teams confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down just north of New Lebanon in Mercer County.
Maximum wind gusts of 95 mph were estimated. More details about the storm are expected sometime later in the day on Wednesday.
