I just got a fund raising robo-call from Mitt Romney!

Asking for a $3.00 donation to "convert" (yes, convert) undecided voters.

Now, we live in New York, and they didn't even ask for our vote. And we have donated to Obama this cycle & to other Democrats & the Democratic Committee. And we live in a 4 registered Democrat household, who vote in primaries & off year elections. So they are clearly idiots for wasting their time on me. Too bad it was a recording, or I would have given it to them but good.

FEC reports will show Romney in debt, campaign sources say

Source: cnn

(CNN) - Campaign finance reports to be released later this week will show Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney over $10 million in debt, the Romney campaign confirmed to CNN Tuesday, although the debt is a result of federal restrictions on when the campaign can spend its war chest.

Romney's campaign took out a loan of $20 million as it approached its party convention last month and saw accessible funds dwindling, sources said. While Romney has been raising general election funds for several months, he could not spend those funds until he officially accepted his party's nomination at the Republican convention.

The loans and debt were first reported Tuesday evening by the National Review Online.

A debt of $15 million will appear on the Federal Election Commission reports, due to be filed by the end of the day Thursday.

He said that Mitt Romney and the G.O.P. had saved all their money to spend now and that the Democratic Party wasted their money. I hope he is wrong. I feel the same as you Danmel they better not call me for Romney!

Plouffe and Axelrod made a strategic decision to spend a lot early in order to define Romney, with the expectation of a lot more money coming in later. They were correct in their bet. The Bain ads of the summer put several states out of Romney's reach, PA being the most significant. And the real Obama donations are just starting now, with the real election season. The pundits were all hem-hawing the strategy when it seemed Obama wouldn'thave any money left. then he outraised Romney in August. They all shut up, except Trump, who doesn't know shit. Who's smarter about political campaigns, David Axelrod, or Donald Trump? The answer to that question is all you need to know.
