"Yes, We Did Build It" rally to feature US Senator who did NOT build anything

Coverage thanks to Cognitive Dissidence.

The Tea Party is having a big rally in Walkershaw on Saturday, featuring "self-made" millionaire Ron "Sunspot" Johnson.

RoJo's "I built it" credentials are outlined in the article...

--RoJo didn't start his company, Pacur. He married into it.

--RoJo got a $4 million government low-interest loan to buy equipment and expand the business.

--RoJo got a railroad line built to Pacur using HUD grant money.

--RoJo had his employees using BadgerCare, the state-funded healthcare insurance.

--And speaking of his employees, some of them were prisoners who worked cheap and already had their healthcare covered by the state.

More on the sham/scam event at the link.

I can't think of a single thing he's done in office. He is the invisible senator.

A far cry from the guy he replaced, Russ Feingold, who busted his ass for Wisconsin. Stupid teabaggers are destroying this state!

The guy is dumber that a bag of doorknobs, and you don't have listen to him talk for very long for that to become crystal clear. He's a proven liar, making claims about his business history that don't jibe with the actual facts. As the OP points out, he screams about "big government" while simultaneously cashing its checks, and the business he supposedly "built" was his father-in-law's -- he just married into it.

And when you consider that Russ was always a pretty popular Senator and really did work hard for Wisconsin, I can't believe that they "traded down" to take this jerk-off.

They believe everything they hear on AM radio, they swallow the whole teabagger rhetoric and they look up to clowns like Walker and Ryan as gods. And they are some of the angriest, snottiest and racist people around. Especially Waukesha County, where they look down their noses at Milwaukee County and all those 'dark-skinned hoodlums'. Of course they come to Milwaukee on their hands and knees when it comes time to beg for Lake Michigan water.

Relocated there from out of state and never, EVER would have moved there had I known what it was like. There are some decent people there, to be sure, but it's pretty friggin' oppressive to be surrounded by these people. Next relocation, I look at the the most recent election results!

They have an info page for most every city or area, that lists things like how people voted in the last election. The site is invaluable for area research wonks like me. Tells you everything, from schooling, to salaries, crime, etc. Seriously, it could have saved you from a move to Waukesha County. Oh, and the forums at City Data are great for reading info from people that actually live there, or have moved away.

If I have a chance I would move to Dane County. I wouldn't move back to Rock County in a million years.

I'm now so far in the sticks I rarely have to see anyone with a net worth over $100.
