Heartbreak Hill...

when I lived in Newton, MA my house was about 1/2 block from Heartbreak Hill. I had friends who ran the Boston Marathon and I would often place myself at Heartbreak Hill with water and watch for them. Heartbreak is the last of a series of hills in Newton and, being the last, it is infamous for ruining even the best of runners. People hang out at Heartbreak Hill specifically to encourage the runners, get them over this awful hump, urge them on.

If Mitt Romney was a real statesman, a real human being, he would be encouraging the 47%, urging them on, recognizing and supporting their efforts. A simple thing that would have earned him a lot. Instead, well we know what he did.

Romney says: I got mine and when I am president, I can make sure none of you ever get over the hump.
