Also some talk about how a win for Bernie might slow down some Super-Delegates moving to Hillary although Dona B. push back on that one

It's all about expectations. And the MSM has been trying (and I fear succeeding) in raising expectations all day.

Of course, a Win is the prize, but the impact of a loss depends on expectations and the magnitude of the loss. For example, almost every report about Iowa noted how whisker-thin the margin was. That reduced the positive effect of the win for Hillary.

Bernie was polling much lower than Clinton up to a few days ago. If the expectation of a relatively poor performance had remained in place, he wouldn't have to win to get a boost. Even if he lost, it would be a win of sorts if he came close.

Unfortunately, I think they are successfully creating the expectation that Bernie "was always" expected to do well. I hope not, but with that expectation, a loss, no matter how narrow, would probably have an equally negative effect.

We just have to wait and see. It's nerve wracking!
