Ted Cruz wins Idaho...are they turning a corner from racism?

I mean is the Northwestern Front really not that significant for the Conservative vote? I thought they would've come out in droves to vote for Trump's dog whistle but I guess they're a minimal population(thank GOD!).

Thoughts?

Cruz has plenty of appeal to the standard red-white-and-blue racists. Just ask the Texans who love voting for this dipshit. Idaho just ain't big on NYC blustering BS.

The pandhandle bunch exited the state years ago, and everyone here was happy to see them go. The dominant conservative groups are Mormons, live-and-let live libertarians, and movement conservatives including a fair amount of Evangelicals. None of these identify with or appeal to white supremacists, although there are overt racists to be found as in most any other location. Interesting to note that Obama bested Hillary in the Idaho state caucuses by a whopping 87-13 margin eight years ago. And my town of Boise, the largest city by far in the state and a light blue dot in a sea of deep red, voted for Obama in the general election both times, albeit by narrow margins of under 10%.
