of his main issue, economics, at least with many different groups.

He is such a good man, has so much to offer, is not and never would be influenced by big business.

Maybe his being president was not meant to be (still possible, never say never), and maybe the way our system works is he does this, pushes the conversation in the left direction, resulting in eventual change.

I dont know, I just know this was maybe the first and only time in any of our lifetimes where we have a chance to vote for someone, for President, who really only cares about the "little guy and gal", as they say.

Not to exclude JFK, Jimmy Carter or Barack Obama (Bill Clinton also), all GREAT presidents.

Bernie is different, though.

Oh well.

BTW, I would not call Bill Clinton a great president, maybe, given some of the stuff he did.

But I would call him a very good one...we cant judge these people in a vacuum, they deserve to be judged as to the times and that which they face from the other side.

I notice patterns in people's posts, and one of the ones I see a lot is "he's got a lot of great ideas - eh, too bad he's never going to win. Oh well, but what are you gonna do?"

Sometimes when I see a post like that I like to read what else the person has said about a candidate, and often it's a running thread in many of their posts. "Too bad he's not viable, such a shame."

If I did I would retract it.

You really have no clue who I am or how strongly and how long I have supported him, but true to form for some of his supporters you have no problem jumping on me and judging me.

If he doesn't win it will be that attitude that is projected by some, perceived to be his, which it is not, that helps that along.

seems to be a common vibe in many of your posts - signaling defeat and modeling quiet resignation.

"true to form for some of his supporters"

These are both strategies and themes I've seen a lot of here, and like I said I have a tendency to fixate on patterns.

But you're right, I don't know anything about you and perhaps "Maybe his being president was not meant to be ... oh well" is how most long time ardent Bernie supporters are expressing their joy and excitement during the after-party of this historic upset.

anyway - Mike - love the headline, sorry to derail the thread.
