E-mail from the Bern himself: "One of the greatest upsets"

Last edited Wed Mar 9, 2016, 05:36 PM - Edit history (1)

When the political and media establishment look back at how wrong they were about this election, they'll all look to last night and our huge victory in Michigan.

Last night's victory has already been called "one of the greatest upsets in modern political history," but I have another name for it:

Our political revolution.

This race is far from over, despite the Clinton campaign's hopes otherwise. Five VERY important elections happen on Tuesday, and we need to shock the country there like we did in Michigan. But we can only do so with your help.

Contribute...... to our campaign today and we are going to win this Democratic primary, the White House, and take back our country from the billionaire class.

I want to be very clear here: the establishment and its super PACs are going to throw everything they have at us. It's going to be ugly.

But I am confident because I know that I have you........ Thank you for believing in our movement.

In solidarity,

Bernie Sanders

I had fallen into a terrible mood of cynicism about American politics. It seems apparent that our government, by in large, is a criminal enterprise that seems to be totally in control of the "rigged game".

Bernie has clearly pointed to the "rising wave of discontent" and has invited us to climb on with him. This wave could turn into a Tsunami, strong enough to cleanse our political house, giving hope and opportunity to ALL Americans as well as like minded people around the World.

Many of the people who are in the top one tenth of the top one percent are pathologically greedy.
They will never stop that vandal acts voluntarily. It's going to take a political tidal wave to wash them out of our lives so that we can enjoy Earth's gifts without destroying opportunities for the as yet unborn people, along with the flora and fauna that co-inhabit this planet.

I see it. You could call it a reset perhaps and or a revitalized time..what have you. I see
Bernie as the voice from within, everything you have said we have known and although
it would be best to have had a ground swell first? This is fine to have a leader who may
possibly get the number 1 spot. Some still may not understand he is talking about the
corruption which must be confronted head on since we have a two party system and
nothing moves unless we acquiesce and receive very little in return. It is a problem
on both sides, not only a Republican problem.

Bernie is best placed as he is the guy who is not a recipient of their money and
we can continue to help build a grass roots effort to make sure it grows
no matter what his fate during the next few months. Very exciting times!
