His vote against Iraq showed a pretty good grasp of the situation and the ramifications of destabilizing the region. He also is wise enough to oppose a no-fly zone in Syria. I'm sure if he surrounds himself with some strong advisers he's going to be just fine.

You'll find bias on both sides; HRC supporters often tout her "experience" but in reality her experience has gotten us into a world of trouble, ranging from her poor decision to vote to invade Iraq, to her support to get involved in Syria, to the no-fly zone that she supports there as well. But rather than me being a cheerleader and simply saying "yeah, Bernie will be awesome" I specified what I felt were key reasons as to why I felt that way. And Sanders supporter or not, I think those points are valid.

This isn't about what you think about him, it's about how he's going to be perceived to the larger electorate. The fact is he has little to no foreign policy experience, and in every debate he doesn't show much depth.

Now, in fairness to Bernie (a) most people would sound light on foreign policy next to Hillary Clinton, and (b) it looks like the GOP is going to nominate someone that has just as little or even less experience than Bernie, so ultimately it may not matter. However, the fact remains that the GE electorate is going to be very different from the dem primary electorate. For many of those voters "readiness for the office" is a huge issue. If you don't look ready to handle an international crisis, that's going to disqualify you in their eyes. And if God forbid there's another terrorist attack between now and the election, it's an uphill climb for any democrat.

Hell, why do you think Obama chose Joe Biden?

My head's first choice remains E.Warren; my heart has been won over by Nina however.

I love Nina Turner and would want a role for her in a Sanders administration (or for her to run for the U.S. House or Senate), but you can't put somebody whose highest position has been state senator on the ticket as VP.
