Megyn Kelly Grills Wasserman Schultz on Clinton FBI Investigation: "Let's Not Be Melodramatic"

In an interview on FOX News tonight, host Megyn Kelly told DNC chairwoman Wasserman Schultz that the Republican response to Donald Trump's rhetoric is that at least no Republican is facing the threat of indictment.

Wasserman Schultz denied the situation, stating, "there's no one facing the threat of indictment on our side either."

The two then had a combative back and forth on the fact that there is an ongoing DOJ and FBI probe of Hillary Clinton's private server. Wasserman Schultz tried to divert attention to Trump's multiple corporate bankruptcies, but Kelly would not let up on getting the chairwoman to acknowledge the Clinton investigation.

MEGYN KELLY: You know what the response to that on the other side is, which is, yes, it has gotten vulgar on the GOP side, but no one's facing the threat of indictment.

DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: There's no one facing the threat of indictment on our side either, Megyn.

KELLY: There's an open DOJ and FBI investigation into Mrs. Clinton right now.

WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: Right. Let's not be melodramatic.

it is scary as hell to hear DWS say she is "not at all worried" about low voter turnout on the Dem side. It is her job to be worried about precisely that.

except the already utterly, and unalterably convinced. Not enough to win the election, anyway. But, DWS is used to losing, and that hasn't stopped her before.

The correct answer is Hillary herself is not under investigation per the FBI. They are investigating her server, which I find odd. I find it odd the way the FBI states the terms of the investigation as well. Because well I think the FBI is parsing a phrase, but whatever.

Honestly, I am a Bernie supporter, but if I were a Hillary supporter I would be furious at you right now.

"Let's not be melodramatic??!!"

How about this:

"The state department is openly cooperating with the investigation and I'm sure that the Hillary campaign welcomes this kind of open scrutiny as a way for the public to understand the important work that takes place at the state department."

Yeah, it sounds scripted but "let's not be melodramatic" sounds like you are admitting there might be something going on.

Good to know she is idiotic tactically, strategically, and conversationally. The sooner DWS is gone the better for the Democratic party.
