Who do Americans think would be the most trustworthy person to lead the nation’s military? The answer may surprise you. According to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll, the highest-scoring candidate for the post is Democrat Bernie Sanders, who wins a total of 38 percent of those surveyed among Democrats, Republicans and independents. Hillary Clinton also beats out her Republican rivals, placing second with 31 percent overall.

Among Democrats, Sanders and Clinton won roughly similar support within the poll’s margin of error (61 percent and 57 percent respectively.)

Edited to add a more current national poll. Because the other one was making some people unhappy.

1. Of course these national polls have less and less relevance as we go through the primary calendar.

In fact by now they are nearly meaningless. About half of the people polled are in states that have already voted.

Am noting that any thread not kowtowing to Hillary is locked.
Daily Kos is the same.
Am nearly 70 and never thought to see the Democratic Paryt embracing fascism or the media so overwhelmingly right wing.
The revolution will not be televised and will be scrubbed from the internet.
