used that term here. I refer to people as Sanders supporters or Hillary supporters. I'm not one to inject loaded "nicknames" for people I consider to be fellow Democrats. It's not my style.

I do, however, strongly object to people using Nazi references with regard to Democratic candidates for President. I will continue to do that, and I hope other DUers do as well. We also have the alert button, which appears to have worked well in this case.

If you catch me saying "berniebros," please chide me for that. I doubt you'll ever have an occasion to do that.

We are all Democrats, more or less here. We are having an election within our party to select a presidential nominee. Some sort of decorum and respect for both candidates is in order, I believe.

I think either candidate would be a good President. That is why I will actively support and campaign for the party's nominee, as I have been doing since 1960. I hope others will do the same, but that is what I will do.

Good day to you, Sir.

My state's primary has passed. I'm not contributing to either candidate. My contributions go to my local legislative races, which matter far more to me that the presidency.

The voters in the 50 states will decide who the nominee will be for our party. I'll be ready to campaign for that nominee immediately.

ever said they wouldn't vote for Sanders if he were the eventual nominee?

Skinner said people who voted to leave obviously disruptive posts would no longer serve on juries, so I imagine 3 of your comrades (on the 5-2 and 6-1 Hides) just joined that list.

I have yet to see a Sanders supporter call out another Sanders supporter for going too far. You can see that in this post. I have seen, and I have participated in, censures of Clinton supporters for going too far.

Would you have voted to hide the two posts in this thread?

about my supporting two Mein Kampf posts?

Seems as though your agenda is just to flail at me for something and it doesn't much matter to you for what. If I reply about one thing, you'll just drag out another. And btw, your second batch of comments have nothing to do with anything I've even done, either.

I will say this, and then you can flail at your self because I don't feel like playing punching bag for every complaint you happen to have against everyoneone else on this board: MY post to justin was talking talking about well before many posters said they would not vote for Clinton. I got mocked and insulted starting at least in May of 2014. In fact, probably before that, anytime I posted a factual story about Hillary that was not flattering. So, please don't hurl false claims at me. In the words of Trumka, I've had a snootful.

Thank you so much.

Tokyo Rose (alternative spelling Tokio Rose) was a generic name given by Allied troops in the South Pacific during World War II to what they believed were multiple English-speaking female broadcasters of Japanese propaganda. The broadcasts were aimed at Allied forces in the Pacific, with the intention of lowering morale.[1] "American servicemen in the Pacific often listened to the propaganda broadcasts to get a sense, by reading between the lines, of the effect of their military actions."[2] "She often undermined the anti-American scripts by reading them in a playful, tongue-in-cheek fashion, even going as far as to warn her listeners to expect a “subtle attack” on their morale."[3]

That this "red scare" stuff has zero effect on young people who don't have a negative view of social democracy. First of all, they're too young to have had to crawl under their desks in school. Hell, for a lot of them, their PARENTS might even be too young to have had to do that.

Secondly, the internet enables people in the USA to have long-distance friends in countries where things like tuition-free university and universal healthcare have been a way of life probably for their entire lives. The world is a much smaller place.

I'm not here to read bullshit no matter who is posting it and when I notice a poster posting a bunch of bull I go for the red X.

wanta' talk issues or show respect for the candidates or each other then I'm all for it but other than that I'm too old to put up with trash. I don't really give a damn who puts me on Ignore either that way neither of us has to be bothered

I no longer am willing to do the jury thingy either.
