Can we all come together to make sure that people can vote?

Not stand around waiting for the paperwork to appear?

If you give one shit about Democracy and your right to vote, you should be pissed that people cannot due to lack of paperwork, ballots, and insane hurdles that are just as bad as Voter ID laws.

I don't care who you want to vote for.

This seems like rehearsal for November, and needs to be head off at the pass.

and shout to the heavens if we are being prevented from voting. This election has had that go on for WAY too many counties and precincts for it to be a goddamn mistake.

I do not want this to be the dress rehearsal for November.

I am going to figure out how I can become one at my own polling place, because this bullshit of "not having enough ballots" has pissed me off beyond repair.

I'm discussing it with my next door neighbor. She is heavily involved with our local Catholic Church, and we are going to work out what to do.

it is the integrity of our elections, period. I'm an Episcopalian, and not a member at my neighbors church, but between the two of us, I think we can get some volunteers.

This is not my wheelhouse - I know nothing about organizing things. I'm determined, though, to at least make sure we don't have more idiocy of "not enough ballots" in my precinct.

That's all I can do, but I damn sure will do it.

And I like this: "This is not my wheelhouse"
I will have to borrow that once in a while.

we get to pick the hill we die on.

Ability to vote - at all - is the one I will choose, without rancor or regret.

But this issue is too important to let go of.

That is not in my nature, nor, truly, in the nature of the Democratic Party.

Giving up is anathema.
