Related: About this forumSenator Sanders just balked on guns on MSNBC.
Failed to answer Chris Hayes' easy to answer, direct question, and changed the subject.
Just like a politician.

(11,014 posts)voted against the Brady bill 5 times ... for a frivolous reason that the waiting period was too long. I mean -- if one wants to go hunting, one should be given a gun immediately. No one should have to prepare for a hunting trip in advance.
On the other hand, people who plan for vacations abroad have to wait a month for a passport .... but I digress.

(2,902 posts)I was denied because someone has my same first name, middle initial, and last name and was born on the same day. I am not allowed to travel. Not that I could afford to, but having the government tell me I'm not allowed to leave is like living in the USSR. When your government doesn't allow people to flee, you know the regime is oppressive.

(10,119 posts)Much like Robot Marco Rubio he just repeats parts of his standard stump speech. His main problem with the press is not a media blackout it's that Bernie doesn't want to be questioned. Even a complete Bernie suck up like Chris Hayes can't get a straight answer to a softball question.

(15,805 posts)The question was actually about his criteria for choosing the next SCOTUS judge. Sanders, like most other presidential contenders, said that as president, he would not use the Heller case, or any other past decision, as a litmus test to limit his choices for a new Justice. The only thing he issued an opinion on was his desire to see the Court overturn the Citizens United case.
