In the wake of comments by Trump,Clinton reminds us what it's like when the adults talk about terror

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton called into Today and spoke with Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer about the terror attacks in Brussels today.

She acknowledged that the attacks appeared to be coordinated, but unlike her Republican counterparts, refused to speculate as the motivations of those who carried them out.

In fact, she went so far as to say that while they are “deeply distressing,” it’s “unrealistic to say we’re going to completely shut down our borders to everyone — that would stop commerce, for example, and that’s not in anybody’s interest.”

“We’ve got to stand in solidarity with our European allies, who have stood with us,” and reiterated the need to be able to track shipments of “powerful explosives” and other weapons that can be used in terrorist attacks.

It's really partly Hillary's doing for having to talk tougher militarily because she's a woman.

Ever wonder how much of this immense hostility has its roots in her sex? Many women are among the worst sexists and resent empowered women.

As I was pointing out on another thread, Hillary scores better on fact checking than Sanders (and far better than any of the GOP candidates - of course), yet she is the one candidate known for dishonesty and lack of trustworthiness.

And the only one with a whole national crowd for whom crowing over her "dishonesty" is literally a constant pleasure.

There is a whole separate standard just for Hillary Clinton alone among all the politicians in the nation, one that could never be met by any public figure with a record because, by definition, it is created not to be.

But then Hillary is the only woman who has ever come within reach of the White House.

I shudder to imagine Trump's "plan" in the wake of Brussels.
