Hillary just gave a terrific speech in...

... Seattle. I've been waiting for her to respond to the wake up in Michigan, and I saw it tonight. The fixated Hillary haters will say she's just pandering, stealing Bernie's ideas. But I think she's learning. She's learning about the critical hurt that's afflicted the core of the middle class. She's learning that "white men" who have lost jobs and identity must be fought for with the same fervor as she fights for other disenfranchised. The difference between the groups is that some have yet to be enfranchised. Those that Bernie and Donald are appealing to have literally been DISenfranchised. She urged her supporters to think beyond the anger being demonstrated and to put themselves "in their minds." Personally, I don't see this as political cynicism. I see it as listening and learning and I'm really excited by it.

I sure wish one of the cable news channels had stuck with it to the end.
