2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumNo matter who your candidate is, you should be concerned about voter disenfranchisement.
This is America, after all. Everyone should be allowed to vote, and our state and county officials should see that they do get to vote. I don't see how anyone can laugh this sort of thing off. It isn't about one candidate or the other, it's about freedom and democracy.

(91,965 posts)caucus do not allow for absentee ballots. That is discriminatory for those that cannot physically attend, or cannot stand for long periods of time.
I am not sure if the voting is private within a caucus either, and if not, that kind of goes against the concept of a secret ballot.

(290 posts)Every one of us should have a voice and it's a shame any member of any party seeks to take that away.

(5,044 posts)Let's be very careful here! Democrats do not disenfranchise our voters, republicans do that. Arizona is republican controlled, which means they also control the election process.

(5,044 posts)If you're going to make that kind of ridiculous statement, you should show us where democrats have suppressed our voters.

(2,145 posts)I guess it is time to give up. The sheep will follow their masters. I mean, when did Bev Harris begin her site Black Box voting on election fraud? Nobody cares. Sheep. Complain, accept but don't change it. That's where we are at.

(32,489 posts)And the secretary of states office that put directions online but failed to train and honor the rules. I blame whomever failed to ensure there was a ballot for every registered voter. All of these incidences have benefited one candidate. It's mind blowing that democrats would be involved with TURNING PEOPLE AWAY FROM VOTING. it's getting so I can't tell who the republicans are.

We need election monitors from the UN or something.
