2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWhat if the COUNTRY were like DU?
You know, where 80-percent are for Bernie?
And the only ones saying it isn't so are the people counting votes -- pollsters and the descendants of Diebold and the Urosevich brothers?
Just a thought, seeing how all of a sudden there are so many posts "concerned" about DUers who are concerned about their votes actually being, you know, "counted."

(11,417 posts)We joked about what excuses would be given if Bernie wasn't winning.
Look the vast majority in this country just don't feel the bern

ScreamingMeemie
(68,918 posts)infighting that the more vocal of Hillary and Bernie supporters are engaged in this year.
(for the record, my thread on this issue dropped like rock because it didn't involve the goofiness that is 90% of the primary forum).

(11,417 posts)That isn't honorable and you shouldn't do it.

(3,660 posts)then perhaps the problem isn't with those questioning it.
Also, I would suggest you reconsider your use of "honorable" given your statements below

(154,021 posts)but you will scream when your candidate does not, like 2000 and 2004? This is not new. But if you are so selective, I do not want you in the fight.

Yeah - that sounds a lot like DU today.
Sad isn't it?

(11,330 posts)not much different that the overall political environment
I'm getting to the point, there I'd almost prefer something like a jury system for legislators and government.
You get called up, you serve, you go home and are excused for several years.
I frequently think I'd rather have a random neighbor than any of the people who chose to run for office.

(3,431 posts)would have silence or distortion from the M$M
and their corporate bosses or sponsors about
Bernie.
The idea that Bernie is only "in competition"
with his opponent is totally ignoring the power
of the establishment as well as the power of
the entrenched democratic apparatus.
In other words it would still be an unbelievable
uphill fight (not counting the repugs).
