2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumYes, AZ voting was obviously a huge s**t-show. And it needs to be fixed, because
a functioning democracy needs to provide access to voting, which means not having to wait in line for hours. Everyone here agrees with that.
The thing is, Hillary bashers here have jumped to the conclusion that this was done intentionally by people associated with Hillary Clinton, in order to help her win. That's an outrageous and baseless accusation. Which is to say, it's the same as a lot of the smears that are tossed at Hillary around here.
This is not a dirty trick by Clinton or David Brock or anyone else affiliated with her. It's also not a dirty trick by Bernie Sanders. I don't know who is responsible, I hope they find out and fix it, but floating conspiracy theories is not going to help that process.

Oh, that's right.
Now, the same corruption is going to come home to roost during the General Election.

(25,241 posts)the Dem vote. There were probably as many Hillary voters waiting in those long lines as Bernie voters. This is not a Hillary v Bernie thing. In November if this isn't fixed we may well be looking at a Repug president.
We are Dems first and we should be channeling our energies here against the Arizona Repugs - not each other.
