1. Closed primaries like Arizona...

means only registered Democrats vote in the primary.

No crossovers unless you changed registration by state party deadlines.

No independents - period.

This is, after all, the Democratic primary. In this case, for registered Democrats only.

If not then what you posted was just you posting something that had nothing to do with this post.

5. The point is...

408,948 Democratic votes were recorded last night for the 2016 Democratic Primary (so far).

There are approximately 530,193 registered Democrats in 2016.

That's a 77% turnout. A mind-blowingly remarkable number, much higher than 2008!

Democratic Party members typically favor Hillary.

Democrats in Arizona chose Hillary!

Nothing at all like open caucuses!

The turn out for Maricopa county was 41.28% which is down from the 54.41% in 2008. This is all in the original post.

The law was changed here in AZ relatively recently.

My "I" husband keeps complaining that he's been disenfranchised.

4. If you're just making everyone but party loyalists vote provisionally

and then throwing those ballots in the trash, these numbers look about right.

Nothing to see here, kids . . . . move along . . . . the coronation will continue as planned.
