Arizona Democrats Show Up In Record Numbers, Told They’re Registered Republicans

http://reverbpress.com/politics/battlegrounds/arizona-democrats-primary-republicans/

Democrats in Maricopa County Arizona have reported being unable to vote after being told at the polls that they were registered as Independents, Republicans, or Libertarians. The Democrats hold a closed primary in Arizona, meaning registered Independents can’t vote for a Democratic candidate.

A party spokesperson said more than 20 voters had called, and that the Arizona Democratic Party is investigating the matter.

“We’ve been getting calls all day from lifelong Democrats who have been registered as independents,” said Enrique Gutierrez, communications director for the Arizona Democratic Party. “One woman even said she’d been registered as a Libertarian.”...

The mix-up comes amidst a record turnout in Maricopa Country. Adding to the problem, fewer polling stations are operating this year after the County Recorder’s Office cut the number of locations by 70 percent.

If you ask me. If Idaho and Utah, came out for Bernie, I can't believe Arizona's numbers were not similar.

We know who. Those that won't stand up against the powerful Ruling Class. Content to watch their middle and working classes sink into poverty.

If you were a registered to vote as a Republican, you should have been able to vote. You should not have been told they ran out of ballots, that you were incorrectly registered and treated like you don't have every right to vote if you followed the proper procedure.

Obviously, as a Democrat, I feel just as strongly about that for Democratic voters.

AZ's "results" and "voting process" - if you could call it that - are freaking unreal.

That is major electioneering and voter suppression/fraud.

Dems vote in in the Dem primary, and repukes vote in the repuke hatefest.

So claiming that Dems are actually repukes of Libertarians or whatever effectively disenfranchises them.

Lifelong Dems showed up and were told they were everything from Republicans, to Libertarians to Independents.

That's either massive incompetence or purposeful attempts at election steering, but I won't claim to know which.

It does absolutely smell like a garbage dump on fire and some people should be ushered quickly out of the building with a cardboard box of their possessions.

then she is not worth the salary. All the people asking for Sanders to step down before all the votes are counted are all neo conservatives and should leave the party now.

We'll see much more of this all over the country in Republican run states in the General.
