(13,043 posts)did in the interview.
They said he didn't answer any of the questions.
The usual, blah, blah, blah, blah.
I saw a short clip and am waiting for the full interview coming up in this hour.

(47,803 posts)He said he felt like he was being ambushed (or something like that)

(13,043 posts)He answered every question.
Judy was smirking the entire time that she was questioning
him about his chances of winning.
He answered truthfully that you can not stop someone with a bomb.
She asked the question 4 times and he answered it 4 times.
The world will never get rid of all the terrorists and anyone who says
differently is not telling the truth.
You do not start another war to try to stop terrorism.
He brought up Iraq as the reason for a lot of the unrest in the Middle East.
I didn't see anything wrong with the interview.

(130,156 posts)I don't watch, it's on my radio station so didn't see any smirks. He surely did answer every question.
Not a thing wrong with it.

(13,043 posts)They have already started 2 or 3 threads about it.
Some in the Hillary group.
Some in General Discussion: Primaries.
I will not post any response to the rabid Hillary supporters.
They are too rude and hateful.
elleng
(130,156 posts)so I'm 'only' here, Sam.
I also don't do rude and/or hateful, but do try to be clear and informative.
SamKnause
(13,043 posts)I am sorry someone blocked you from the Bernie group.
I read all your posts and you are never rude or hateful.
You are always clear and informative.
Thanks for being here.
This place is extremely toxic at times, but I keep fighting the good fight.

(130,156 posts)Toxic it is, so I stay up into the wee hours of the night to escape!

(16,368 posts)I will never forget her asking repeatedly of everyone she interviewed that day if they thought Clinton could survive the scandal and didn't they think he should quit that very day.
I'm talking about the very day Drudge hit the web with the screwing the intern story.

(13,776 posts)However, he also said "You're right" a few seconds later about her point that it would be very difficult to stop ISIS. So yes, he may have started that reply by talking over her, but he wasn't rude or obnoxious or belligerent or anything like that. He really wasn't.
Perhaps when a man interrupts a woman it seems more objectionable than when a woman interrupts a man, as Hillary famously did in that debate and Bernie reminded her that it was actually still his turn and that he was talking. (I'm pretty sure you won't disagree that she interrupted him? People interrupt each other. It happens.) I get that, I really do, and it sends up red flags for me as well. But at this level--a national news anchor and a senator--he wasn't being domineering or anything like that (and again, I appreciated the way he said "You're right" .
We'll probably still disagree about this, but I honestly did not see what you are seeing. We each have our biases, obviously.

(3,017 posts)TYT showed some clips of how the media has gone after Bernie, including examples with Chris Cuomo and Anderson Cooper. Bernie said some times he simply has to basically tell the questioner to knock it off and move the subject to something important to voters. He mentioned in the TYT interview that he had just done an interview a little bit earlier with PBS where he had to do that.

(3,017 posts)Judy Woodruff was almost openly hostile and was on the verge of acting like a 5 year old. But how are we going to kill every possible terrorist in Europe and the United States NOW? What an idiotic question. What was she looking for as an answer? Can anybody imagine her ever talking to Hillary Clinton like that?
Bernie did a good job of restraining himself the first 2 or 3 times she asked that question and finally got tired of it. And then of course, Judy moved on to a "you can't possibly win, can you?" question instead of talking about any of the important issues in this election.
SamKnause
(13,043 posts)She asked the same question 4 times.
He answered it 4 times.
She smirked the entire time she was asking him if he could win.
