(13,091 posts)We have been told this over and over by Hillary supporters.
We made it all up.
It is apparent they do not care !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(3,660 posts)There's been a ton of posts last night and today about this very topic, and trivializing it as some conspiracy theory from Bernie supporters, etc..
KingFlorez
(12,689 posts)You all have been saying that Sanders won 60-40 and that the results was somehow altered in Clinton's favor. That is a conspiracy theory based. The problem was with the Republican administration of elections, yet Sanders supporters want to blame Clinton.

(113,039 posts)have been flying around here nonstop.
It hasn't been easy being a Sanders supporter trying to bat down the outright lies being tossed around, and I welcome fellow longtime DUers who will stand against them. This is STILL our party, and Sanders chose US to stand with, so it is up to us to rise to that same level of integrity.
What DU has always done best is to expose the GOP treachery and stand against it. Those here working feverishly to pin these BLATANT election crimes of office on Dems and the Dem party instead of GOP should be kept at arm's length, imo.

(718 posts)I simply reject the conspiracy against Clinton stories that some Sander's supporters are floating. I understand many Sanders supporters aren't into that conspiracy theory and reject it, but that is the part I don't take seriously.
As for the voter disenfranchisement, yes, I do care. As for what to do about it? I have no idea. Do you have an idea?
KingFlorez
(12,689 posts)Someone with a Sanders avatar posted an article from a sketchy Russian site that detailed an elaborate election theft scheme plotted out by Clinton and there have been numerous other accusatory posts claiming that Sanders won with over 60% of the vote, but Clinton cheated to flip the numbers.
SamKnause
(13,091 posts)I was only posting about voter suppression.
That should be a concern if you support Hillary or Bernie.

(718 posts)I have seen many Sanders supporters stand up and say otherwise and respect that. I am also concerned about the situation in Arizona.
blm
(113,039 posts)agreeing with some of the absurd posts claiming that Dems did it to block Sanders winning Arizona when it is 100% certain that the decisions were made by Republicans in charge and it was aimed at ALL Democratic voters, not just the ones voting for Sanders.
I find it curious why someone who wants to be seen as credible would make such an overthetop, and false comment.
So
please proceed.
Maybe you have not read the posts, but I have.
They started posting last night after all the problems starting surfacing.
They called people whiners.
They called people conspiracy nuts.
They called people sore losers.
People posted videos of the long lines.
That did not deter them.
As the night went on they kept it up.
They were still doing it this morning.
When some of the facts started to surface they continued.
So.........please proceed.
blm
(113,039 posts)blame at Democrats claiming they were behind the vote suppression tactics to help Clinton.
Hello.
Maybe you did not read ANY of those posts, but I have.
The difference is that I am a fair-minded person who sees cringeworthy postings from BOTH sides worst actors.

(113,039 posts)here by some Sanders supporters.
I don't understand why some of you are pretending that didn't occur. It did, and it is up to clearheaded Sanders supporters to tap this stuff down here at DU, just as it is incumbent upon clearheaded Clinton supporters to curb their snark and gloating.
jeff47
(26,549 posts)If you actually look at the thread, the author keeps insisting it is "fake" regardless of Clinton/DNC involvement.
blm
(113,039 posts)needs to be addressed and one doesn't have to spend time on just one thread to prove it here.
To fairminded supporters in both camps it is apparent that there are bad actors spreading sh!tstirring views that are, frankly, absurd.
jeff47
(26,549 posts)Meaning your "clarification" was not so much true.
blm
(113,039 posts)being made AT THE TIME claiming that Clinton campaign suppressed the vote in Arizona.
I am not going to apologize to narrow-minded actors of either side for putting both camps postings IN CONTEXT of what I clearly see happening on the board when I reply.
Tough.
Move on from the absurd navel-gazing.

(5,599 posts)fault. I should have signed up for my mail in ballot like my husband did. I did not and it was a pain in the a$$.
I will be signing up now for my mail in ballot. I think all voters who stood in line care.
Continue ranting about some made up garbage.

(718 posts)Lifelong dems were also dealing with errors where they were being registered as independents, making them unable to vote. That's not okay either.
KingFlorez
(12,689 posts)Of course there were problems with polling places and such, but there is no evidence to suggest that an investigation will change the results.

(8,541 posts)Hillary won Arizona in 2008 so it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.
But this right here, is some bullshit and if it's allowed to stand it will happen in the general.
jillan
(39,451 posts)lead in Az was even bigger.
KingFlorez
(12,689 posts)The point should be about proper administration of elections and fairness, not political bragging rights. It's been known for quite awhile that Republicans in charge of elections have been prone to pulling tricks, but only now are people taking notice. That's why you have to be plugged into the process at all times, not just when you want to lobby for your candidate.
NWCorona
(8,541 posts)And been vocal about it. It's just that the power class ain't doing shit about it.
jillan
(39,451 posts)at the polls. There are NO bragging rights.
And then you posted this:
Which is laughable! Voters are so plugged in that this story took over twitter by 10 am yesterday, it was being reported on local news before noon. Voters took videos all day & all night long of the long lines, pictures of their voter registration card showing they are a registered Dem & the provisional ballot they were given because they were told the computer had them listed as a republican. They were posting videos at 8 pm when they were still in line & had to have pizza delivered. They very last voter finished after midnite, again - all over social media.
The voters did an outstanding job of documenting what happened yesterday. Plus they did not back down. They knew better.
If anything, you should be applauding your fellow democrats in Arizona - not belittling them.
