Birds of a feather, comrades in arms.

(11,631 posts)That Trump is in bed with Putin is obvious at this point, but Stein just keeps looking dirtier and dirtier.

(3,892 posts)Thoughtful disagreement is acceptable, but there is a fine line between disagreement and attack.
Every Democrat must exercise judicious self-control so that we never refer to Jill Stein as an opponent,
much less an enemy; we must not make hay of her mistakes; we must give her the benefit of the doubt; and we must win over Jill Stein not by negativity but by our own compassion and magnanimity. Your typical human being has pros and cons, but for Jill let us take the higher path and see only the (few, scarce) pros and focus on our own shortcomings. Your typical competitor expects to be treated to a competition, but for Jill let us consider her a competitor in only the petty details of an fleeting election, since in a larger, more spiritual, sense she is our ally for the greater cause.
It bothers me how Democrats try to denigrate Jill Stein, just because she's an awful craven asshole, supported by a toxic alliance of Putin, the cynical far right, and the delusional far left.
Because as Democrats, we are supposed to be better than this. The fact that she warrants no respect is precisely why she must be afforded it.
(Did I get that right? Hard to keep up with her apologists nowadays.)

(28,339 posts)Who believe themselves clever when they profess that they are oh so "concerned" about how we Democrats should treat the Green party nominees and the spoiled little narcissistic idiot children of privilege who enable her.

(28,339 posts)Her advertisements and her website are far more concerned with spreading lies and smears about our Democratic nominee HRC, the only person who can keep Trump out of the White House and keep our country moving forward on the path of progress. Putin-loving Trump is dismissed quite briefly as kind of a goof who has said terrible things; while HRC is instead painted as a baby-killing harbinger of the end of all life on the planet.
Next year, one of two people will be sworn into office. Hillary Rodham Clinton or Putin-loving Donald Trump. Even comrade Stein isn't so stupid as to believe she will win the election. Stein's commercials are clearly designed to weaken HRC, and as such have but one electoral - the election of Donald Trump.
Stein also needs to be asked why she thought the racist Brexit was awesome before she scrubbed her praiseful words and said she was against it.

Hmmm, that's weird. A weakened EU is beneficial to Putin - and it seems his RT network, where Comrade Stein was just invited to speak, did all they could to encourage the "leave" vote, while Putin himself of course, feigned neutrality.
Analysis of recent news stories shows a clear bias towards quoting anti-EU campaigners in articles that claim to show balance. One news story quotes extreme right-wing Polish politician Janusz Korwin-Mikke, who says Britain would be right to leave the EU. (He also offers his support for Trump because Clinton is supported by the Jews.)
